I do not make clothes but I can tell you that mesh and transparent textures do not work well together. Clothes where they do work that I have seen (blogger) use semi transparent textures most likely made with a full texture and using the transparency settings in the build menu.

It is good you checked in all viewers but having it work in Phoenix really doesn't matter as Phoenix is dead (or will be in another week) when the server side baking goes to all the servers not just the test ones.

You might want to post this on the MESH forum if you don't get a complete answer here.

 

EDIT: well this is interesting. I replied to a post that was in the texturing forum and it ended up in the mesh forum. So no need to post here I see LOL. Ah, magic.
