Tried a clean install as suggested but still receive the message Login Failed. Updating friends list

I followeed your previous suggestio, uninstalled and then tried to log but i still receive the message "Login Failed. Updating friends list". What do i have to do?

Hi Chad,

If you did a clean install, i.e. uninstalling and also removing the hidden folders in AppData then reinstalling and that was unsuccessful in resolving this issue, you will have to try an alternative viewer. Install the viewer linked below and see if it works. If successful, you should be able to go back to your original viewer afterwards.

Besides using an alternate viewer, file a bug report.  This "updating friends list" thing seems to be affecting several people.
