How to stop Group Notices going to email (Despite having turned off "offline IMs to email"

I have disabled the "I would like to receive offline IMs via Email" checkbox in the Contacts area of my Account Dashboard. 

And yet I continue to receive copies of group notices in my private email.  Another odd thing is that the emails are for only one group.  While I receive group notices for other groups in world, they do not go to email like this one group does.

It would seem to be an option within the group settings, but I can't find any such option in the group info.

How do I stop receiving group notices in email from this one group?

Sounds like you have joined a subscribo from that group - maybe log inworld and find the board to unsubscribe also if you have an alt? and they are a memeber of the group youll need to turn off that alts notifications as well.  Hope that helps

Dakota's right.  Real groups can be blocked like that, but if you joined a merchant's subscription group by clicking on a sign somewhere, you can really get spammed.
