The main owner of the sim is offline and will be offline for along time. There is a section of the sim we want gone because it was subdivided and we want it rejoined. I own the biggest part of the sim but the small part is still owned by the main owner who gave me basically all ownership of the sim. We don't know what to do right now, we're trying to turn the sim into an anime -  High School of the Dead Roleplay but that area is making it hard to set up.

Unless you own the land and the estate is set to join and divide parcels, or you are an estate agent, there is nothing you can do about it until the Sim owner returns

If you are an estate manager you can set the smaller parcel for sale in the Parcel Details option from your World menu in the viewer.

Set the parcel for sale for $1L (which will be sent to the parcel owner) and designate your own name as the one to sell it to that way nobody else quickly buys it up for whatever reason.

Then buy the parcel for $1L. It is now yours to subdivide, join, or leave the way it is if you wish.

To join the two parcels, right click the terrain for a pie menu and select "Edit Terrain" from the list. Then highlight a section of land that crosses both parcels and select the "Join" button.

That should do it.
