Hello everyone,

I got a strange problem with baking my sculpt maps in Blender.

I just add a UV-Shape/Sphere and directly hit "Bake Sculpt Maps...". The result should look like the known smooth colored map, but all I get is a kind of wireframe view of the object with the lines colored as a sculpt map.

I hope its just a wrong setting inside blender.

Looking forward for any tips and tricks on this issue

Cheers

Josh

Primstar shows an alpha layer too

Showing an "alpha layer" would be a neat trick, considering there's no such thing as an alpha layer.  It's an alpha CHANNEL.  Layers and channels are entirely different things.  This forum is the only place in the known universe where some people insist on using the two words synonymously.  It makes it really confusing for people who are trying to learn graphics for the first time.  I make it a point to try to correct the error whenever I see it.  Terminology is important. :)
