JVanEps
I was wondering if anyone knew how to detect the movements of an Avatar? Like if an Avatar is walking forward or someone is typing in w to walk forward, something detects the avatar walking and types into chat "Forward". Also as if the avatar moves left and right then something detects the Avatars movements and then types into chat "Left" or "Right". How can I make this possible? If there is any more clarification please let me know
Qie Niangao
For walking, there's AGENT_WALKING in the bit vector returned by llGetAgentInfo(). For turning, there's llGetAnimation() but I'm not sure what happens when the basic turning animations are overridden. Would need to experiment. Kenn Nilsson
In the past, when I've used llGetAnimation() it does not matter whether or not the basic animations are overridden ... the base animation will still attempt to play before it is overridden, thereby giving you data to go on.
