We'll need to know more to be able to offer a support. How were you stolen? Does anyone have access to your account (i.e, knowing your password)? Have you looked at your transaction history on your dashboard to see where the Lindens went?

Also, if you are looking at your balance INWORLD, it may not reflect your true balance. If it is showing a weird amount, click on the $ sign to refresh your Linden Dollars balance. Your true balance is always on your dashboard. So you have to check this there.

You can add informations using "options" > "Edit" at the top right your question, or press "Permalink" under a reply to add text.  Please do not start a new question. Thank you.

Check your Transaction History.  Missing $L could be due to:

- you are in a group, or groups, whose members share group liabilities.  In this case, you will pay a small amount every week or so to support the group's classified ad or search listing.  Talk to the group owner about changing the group settings, or leave the group to avoid further charges.

- you paid someone.  Whether or not you expected something in return is irrelevant.  LL won't intervene to recover your money.  They consider this sort of thing a "resident to resident dispute" and won't get involved.

- you bought $L from someone shady who got them by using, for example, a stolen credit card to buy them.  LL will take back the money and hit you with a 50% fine on top of it.

- you gave someone, knowingly or via a phishing link, access to your account.  Change your password and notify LL that your account was compromised.  Since you are responsible for protecting your account, you cannot count on getting back any lost $L

- There could be a difference in your balance shown in world and in your website account.  This is a bug, but not any cause for alarm.  The website balance is always the correct one, and a re-log will fix the in world balance shown.

- someone gave you an object.  When you rezzed it, it asked for permission to "take linden dollars from you' and you clicked "Grant".  Report the person who gave you the object, and include the object itself in your Abuse Report, if you still have it..  Then take it into your inventory (it will be safe there) or delete it.

As you can see from the above, no one can "steal your money".  You can pay someone by mistake, you can lose control of your account...but all these things require your cooperation in one form or another.  Consider this a learning experience, because you are very unlikely to get any money back.
