how do I send a notecard

I am new on here and a bit confused.. How do I send someone a notecard .. help .. thanks

1.  Right click in your inventory and select New Note.  Type a name for it...something other than "New Note" which is the default.

2.  Write your note.  If it's a long one, you can write it in a word processor, then Select All, Copy (I like the shortcut CTRL+C) and Paste it (CTRL+V) into your note.

3.  You can embed landmarks and transferable objects into your note by dragging and dropping them in the note.

4.  Save the note.

5.  Send it by:

1. Dropping it onto the recipient's avatar, if they are there with you
2. Dropping it onto their Profile picture
3. Opening an IM window with them and dropping the note into the IM window.
