inventory & appearance keyword filtering always opens the outfit or folder

Is there any way to NOT open folders/outfits when filtering inventory or appearance?  More often than not, I just want to see which folders/outfits match the filter; don't want to see inside before I've considered the big picture.

To filter your inventory make sure to click on "collapse" first and then choose a filter. Click the little down arrow next to "Inventory" or Library" to display just the first level of folders and not their contents. (There is no filter for the Outfits folder in inventory, but collapsing the tree then manually clicking the Outfits folder will give the needed results).  I don't think you can filter outfits in Appearance... just what you are wearing.

Right there all the time (for inventory windows). Very handy. Thx  Why not provide the same capability on the Appearance window?
