Was your item not delivered? Was the item not as described? Did you contact the merchant? Some of the "I was scammed" posts come from people who don't (yet) know how glitchy the Marketplace can be. In world purchases generally don't have the same issues due to the lack of "layers" involved in the purchase, but if there has been region restarts or even if the SL server hiccupped when you were purchasing something in world, there can be a glitch.
