Your Premium membership entitles you to EITHER a free Linden Home, OR free tier on the first 512 square meters of Mainland you buy.  If you have a Linden Home now, stand in it, open World/About Land, and click Abandon to get rid of it. (Take any objects you have there back into your inventory first.)  Then you can buy another 512 sq m parcel anywhere else on the mainland, and not owe monthly tier on it.

You can buy more than 512 sq m of course, but you will pay tier on anything you own beyond that first 512.
