acct and profile issues

My acct was created in 2006 shut down and reactivated recently. SInce reactivated I can do everything in the game BUT Change or update my own profile (it says not avail including my profile pic which is a grey face) and on certain other players accts things like picks and stuff says I must login first in order to read their profiles.  I am obviously logged in because I am in the game clicking on profiles so I don't understand this or how to fix it. Plus I would love to be able to see my own profile and make changes to it while in game. Can anyone help?

I'm going to assume that you have updated your viewer software and are not using your old 2006-era viewer.

If that's the case, then you need to submit a Support case.  Quite a number of people reactivating old accounts seem to have encountered this behavior.  Go to https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/
