about Sim V.6

Hello, i have a question, i hear about rumors over a new Sim class 6.0,  more big more than 64 000 sqm and more expensive.

any people know about that?

LL skipped Class 6 a few years ago, probably because there were so many crazy rumors about it. Newer sim hosts report themselves as 7 or 8, but LL doesn't make any claims that these newer machines will have any specific hardware configuration, only that regions running on them won't perform worse than on Class 5.

There has been a little speculation in office hours/user groups about offering different region sizes, but right now that is only talk.

There have been treads on the forum from time to time about this and in fact there was a recent one.  Some one may have interpreted something they read wrong, as the threads are just discussion and speculation.  The desire for larger regions has been brought up from time to time for years now and nothing ever has come of it. 

Here is a link to the latest discussion about it and some of the technical and economic considerations of it.  Of course everyone posting is not a Linden only residents.  But a number of them have a lot of applicable experience.
