Edit Listing 4+ Years old - Cannot Save says no catagory

Marketplace:

Trying to edit some listings that are several years old. I have everything with a red * next to it filled out. Every time i go to submit it tells me:

 

1 error prohibited this product from being saved

There were problems with the following fields:

• You must choose a category for your product before it can be listed

However; I have gone back in and selected a catagory, including several diffrent ones and I keep getting the same error. This is happening on multiple products. I do not want to create a new listing because I have many positive reviews, but I need to update prices.

I know this sounds simplistic, but try using a different web browser.  Chrome and Firefox work much better with SL's sites than IE does.  Also, regardless of which browser you are using, try clearing its cache (that's CTRL + Shift + Del in Firefox).

Try unlisting the items first, then edit them. A few people reported this worked for them.
