I need help on making invitations...PLEASE!!

Ok i need to learn how to make wedding invintations that includ an envelope.  I would like for the invintation to come out of an envelope and open when someone clicks on it...or i would like for it ot come out of an envelope postcard style...and possibly write as they are looking at it...is this ata all possible?

It's all doable by scripting, and you would need, I think, to look at llSetLinkPrimitiveParamsFast  to learn how to make the envelope open, and llRezAtRoot to make the invitation appear.

Making it seem to write itself would be interesting -- there's several ways to approach that, depending on the exact effect you want.

If you want to learn how to write it, people in the Scripting Forum will be able to help, but please don't ask there for someone to write it for you -- if you want someone to write it, then Wanted or Employment would be the places to ask.

You could do this effect with three uses of a door script.

1.  Script the envelope flap as a swinging door.

2.  Script the invitation coming out of the envelope as a sliding door.

3.  Script the invitation unfolding as a swinging door.

The writing could be accomplished using the "animate textures" script and a series of textures, each with a little more of the writing on it.
