Joining Groups

Hey, everyone.  I am a new member of SL and I am wanting to join some writing groups...but I am having trouble being able to find where I can join them.  Any hints? Thanks. : )

Use search and search in groups. Use 'writer" as your search word.    You'll find a number.  Some don't meet, but use the group to chat with each other, while other's are groups that actually may meet,  Regardless once you join a few you can ask other members where to find writer groups that meet.

There is a big sign saying 

"Our local groups  

click for info on how to join."
