buubbleguum Emerald Posted July 12, 2012 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Hello, I've been trying to create this skirt for a while, but I'm having some trouble with the rigging. I have watched the Rigging Mesh Clothing tutorial on youtube and understand the basics of weight painting and assigning weights in blender. I have finnished my model but am not really sure how I should go about weighing it. If some one could explain it to so I understand a little better I would really appreciate it. I've been playing around with the weights a fair bit and haven't really had much sucsess. I have included a picture of my mesh and the weights for the right thigh bone. Obviously I need to add a wider variation of weights but every time I try to do this the mesh looks crazy and messy. Help please :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You basically want to have a smooth transition of weights that spans the area between the two legs.
