Erin Talamasca
I don't fully understand the cycling in-built hand animations, so what I'm asking may not make sense - sorry about that! But if it does, could you help me get my head round this...I want to replace the hands on a mesh. These new hands shouldn't bend or flex at any point beyond the wrist, so I think I would include a mini-AO with the avatar that locks the hands against any default or other AO anims that might change the finger position (e.g. switch from spread to fist). I'm not interested in making any more of an AO for it - this is just to lock the hands....I just can't picture it. Would it be a 2x frame looped anim with nothing keyframed, but on upload I'd select the 'spread' hand position? Does that sound like it'd work? Thanks for your help! Medhue Simoni
You don't have to upload anything. The hand poses are just built in morphs. You can create a script and choose the built in hand morph that you want. You'd have to make a script that constantly plays this morph over and over. Erin Talamasca
I had no idea the hand morphs could be set via script - thank you! Isn't it lovely when the answer turns out to be so much simpler than you hoped..!
