Why can't I buy linden dollars?

I have tried twice today. each time I get nothing. I even went to my bank and deposited funds to make sure it wasn't due to low funds.

You can't buy $L with a bank account.  It takes a major credit card or a verified PayPal account.

Nomi,

Not all Bank Debit cards or even M/C- VISA backed Debit cards are accepted by SL fro the purpose of purchasing Lindens directly. Have you set up a payment method? Once you have a payment method or 2 established, you can select which is to be used for what purpose.

I personally never buy lindens directly against any of my Debit/credit cards. I prefer to increase my USDs on hand and then purchase lindens from the website using the best rate I can get. These purchase will reduce my USDs on hand.
