My avatar seems to be stuck as a red cloud. Help!

All I am is a red cloud for the last sessions. I have rebaked multiple times, checked that I had a shape and a skin on, and updated the Firestorm viewer.  What else can I do?  :(

You may be suffering from "bake fail". Here are two pages that deal with that...

Bake Fail is sometimes the result of connection issues. SL is terribly finicky about the quality and latency of the connection, but not so much about the speed. You may have a super zippy link, but if it's dropping packets, or there is excessive delay in getting those packets between you and the servers, problems will arise. hi

so u are a red cloud

using firestorm, well your shape not loaded or the hair base.

log on and open the inventroy

press control and I

once thats open go to the bottom and open the library

in there you find lots of avatars

open one and you see all the things needed to make a avatar

click on the item and pick wear from the menu

you need to find a hair base and a shape

you can make your own look using the many avatar in the library
