"Please check your sims.. there is an avatar who is placing chat logging objects even in completely protected sims .. the name is Subzerox followed by a series of numbers. SL Governance is looking for the objects. They can not be returned deleted or even seen. Look in About Land.. they are found around 128/128 If you find one send an Abuse Report and LL Governance

Once you have been in SL for a while, you will start hearing all sorts of rumors.  Ten percent of them might have a germ of truth.  The rest you can ignore.  In fact, ignore any of them unless they are really going to make a big difference to your personal life in SL.  If you want to check out likely stories, start reading the Linden blogs.   If the Lindens write something there, you can believe it.  Otherwise, be skeptical and don't just pass on rumors uncritically.

This particular rumor might have some element of truth, although not the part about placing objects on Protected Land. You need to have a Linden group tag to do that. If there's any truth in the story, you can be fairly sure that Linden Lab is already aware of the problem and is doing something about it.  If you happen to find something yourself, you may of course submit an Abuse Report.
