Today is June 6th, 2023, and I'm having the same problem with SL Viewer. I used in last Friday, and it was fine. Today I open and get a message that Version 6.6.12.579987 has been downloaded and ready to install. When I click OK, it gives the second attached error notices. Anyone else getting this and know how to fix. I can't log in.

Does anyone know the answer? I'm missing several outfits and items from my inventory. Whole saved outfits are completely gone. I'm really ticked about this! Where is my stuff? If I delete SL Viewer and reinstall will that help? This is ridiculous that so many items can just vanish! The folders are there, but there is nothing in them. One outfit I saved years ago and needed for a dance tonight was completely empty. Luckily I could find it and buy it again, but really? Why should I have to waste Linden when it's not my fault stuff is disappearing. Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!

I use to be able to take a pic inworld and then save to my desktop. Now, ever since the update around Halloween, I haven't been able to. My screen just freezes, and I have to force quit SL. Still NO PIC! This is so freaking frustrating. You don't give any answers. Others are having the same problem. So what is going on? Why don't you fix this?

I have about 13 trash cans, and only 1 functions like a real trash can (objects go in and I can delete them). The other 12-13 appear to be dummy trash cans that just sit there. Nothing goes in them and the option to DELETE them is not there. How do I get rid of these extras? I'm trying to clean up my inventory. Thanks for your help

It is of importance to Linden Lab, as they provide the infrastructure upon which SL runs. If SL stored images as PNG, texture download times would be so long that nobody would tolerate it" First, I have saved and uploaded many png files before to SecondLife, so this is not anything I'm not familiar with. If the pic uploaded as a png before, why would it automatically start to NOT do it. I didn't change anything, so it is on the part of Linden Labs. Secondly, if you read my comment correctly, I wanted to know WHY my png files were converted FROM a PNG. I had png pic, uploaded as a png and they didn't show as a png. It's not like I haven't done this before.

I want my $190 Linden back!!!! my PNG pics did NOT upload as png. Why did SL convert my file/pic? give me my Linden back and delete the pics I uploaded the last two days from my inventory. If they are not PNG they are not freaking use to me!!!! Whose bright idea was it to change the way png files are uploaded and NOT GIVE ANY KIND OF WARNIG THAT THEY ARE CHANGED BEFORE UPLOADING? They should be fired. Give me my linden back.

yeah, thanks for a whole lot of nothing and basically a big "too bad" to me. If SL's BIRTHDAY Contest isn't meant for all SLers than why have it? It should be for ALL SecondLifers, and NOT a SELECT FEW. If that is the case, maybe they should just post it to you and whoever the other few are that like to have their personal and SL accts linked. Then I wouldn't have to see it and question why? Thanks for your input is was Sooooo helpful!

I just saw the contest listed here on the SL page, not on FB. I don't even go to SL on FB. And I guess you are right, why post on FB when everyone doesn't even have a FB acct? My point is basically that it is wrong to try to tie our personal real life info in FB to our SL accts by hosting a contest on FB for SecondLifers. If they really want us to participate then it should be where all SLers can participate....IN WORLD!

Why have the birthday contest to win 10, 000 L on FB? Doesn't that negate our right to anonymity? If I am on SL and people don't need to know who I am in REAL LIFE, why ask us to post from our REAL LIFE FB accounts to SL page? That makes no sense to me to tie my FB account to SL. Have the contest INWORLD.

It use to be that we could copy and paste chat...ie. when reporting a griefer or some abuse, but now I don't see how to find my Chat logs that are supposedly SAVED! Saved where? that's what I want to know.

I looked there and there is NOTHING listed. How do you find CHAT logs when nothing is listed?

Friday night (2/7/14) I was kicked out of Oxbridge Caledon for no reason at all! I'm pissed. While waiting for a new SL friend to arrive, I feel asleep at my computer. After I woke up, I was reading the chat log and found out that she had been there as well as one of the so-called Deans MD who ejected me off the land for no reason. When I went back to wait for my friend to arrive, another person came over to me and told me that "it was an Education/Learning sim and I had been lurking too long." I told him that "I know what kind of sim it is and I am not lurking" He went back over to talk to the female avitar who has now apparently banned/blocked me from coming to that sim. I did nothing wrong and as far as people hanging out there; there are people hanging out there all the time, but only the ones she approves of. This is a great welcome they are giving to new SLifers. Can they really ban me for doing nothing wrong? That would make no sense at all!

I have the same problem. I still do not have my items and I sent a message to report it. Some of these sellers never answer, and they keep our Linden$. It has been several months now, and I'm out my money I paid for those items. Even reporting here gets no results.

I went to all these places on the Egg Hunt to try to win some $L. I can't find a single thing, not a single egg. There are no hints, and most of the places are pretty barron. Also, what the heck is it exactly that we are looking for? Why ASSUME you know what the winning eggs look like? You did not POST PICs of them or anything. I found one place that had eggs, but how am I to know What Egg I'm looking for? Also. If the eggs are already taken there should be some symbol so that we are not WASTING our TIME at the place looking for it. Either the eggs are not all out yet, or this was pretty set-up so that cetarin ppl would win. Either way, I'm done with it. Feel like I wasted two days doing this with no satisfaction at all. This is the last Hunt I will do. These Hunts are getting more and more ridiculous! For instance, Why would I need to sign up for a group to do a hunt? Why do I need to go online to get the places? Why don't you just put them in a NoteCARD like other SUCCESSFUL HUnts? You guys need to take a page from the SteamPunk Hunts!
