can windows 8 consumer preview run second life?

Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers did not install properly, are out of date, or are for unsupported hardware.  Please make sure you have the latest video card drivers and even if you do have the latest, try reinstalling them.  If you continue to recieve this message, contact the Second Life Support Portal.  

 

Note: No drivers work.  I can't log into Second Life and I have no other Operating System now.

Yes it works on Windows 8. Did you try downloading drivers from nvidia or ATI directly?

BTW: There is a reason everywhere is said you shouldn't use the consumer preview for production systems, name because of issues like that!
