Chic Aeon
So someone on another platform suggest Bsurfaces which is now included apparently in the preferances pane in Blender as a click in choice. I watched an impressive video but close inspection and careful watching leads me to believe that while this program can do a lot it produces pretty heavy mesh. I realize that you can "dial back" the number of surfaces (a bit it seems like the subsurf modifier is built in) but more simplistic models don't seem all that impressive. Has anyone use it? It is a very old program (the original anyway) according to Google. thanks.
