Viewer-Managed Marketplace MSVCP100.dll is missing

Hello,

I have installed the Viewer-Managed Marketplace today.When I launch the viewer I get the message MSVCP100.dll is missing.

When I close this message, i get a pop up menu that says. "the following Plugin has failed , media_plugin_webkit.

Once i close this pop up, I'm able to log in, but i receive both messages several times. After i close them, everything seems to run normal.

I'm not a techie, but i find it bit strange this doesn't happen, with the main viewer or firestorm viewer.

Anyone any ideas?  

ps I'm on windows 8.1 and  I do have the latest version of QuickTime.

Hi Asterias,

it must be a problem from your Windows installation,
have a look in "windows update" and see if you have Microsoft Visual C++ updates listed.

Hi Sassy and Marco,thank you for your reply's.

I have tried all the suggestions they gave in the links and some other stuff I came across.

But unfortunately, so far, it didn't resolve the  problem.

As far as i can figure it out MSVCP100.dll is there, but the VMM viewer can't find it.

I have such problem too. It often occur in Windows. When msvcp100.dll is missing you need to download it from this siet for example http://fix4dll.com/msvcp100_dll . And replace it, then restart the computer. It's done.

I would NEVER recommend to anyone to use a third party site from which to obtain a component which is freely available following the first link that I gave, found easily via Google.

While the link may indeed point someone to a valid file, I cannot think of one reason ever to not obtain an easily obtainable file from the original software author.
