Question

I've tried buying linden and it fails. All my information is correct and I even called the bank they said its all clear on their end and yes I have money in the account.

Upon multiple attempts I've created a series of System_cancel  order history.

So my questions are;

1) Did it never go through? If so, whats up with it and how can I go about correcting it?

2) Since I have the mulitple attempts to Linden and it says System_cancel are they still somehow going to charge me for every attempt or is it permenantly closed transaction?

3) Now that I've made the several attempts  it shows I've reached an exchange limit which I do not fully understand in general, let alone the fact that I haven't recieved or been charged for the L$.

Help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

If the orders failed to complete, as seems to be indicated by the messages you're getting, you won't be charged.

Second Life accepts either major credit cards, or a verified PayPal or Skrill account.  By "verified", it means that the PayPal account is backed up by a major credit card or a Real Life bank account.  You do this on the PayPal web site, and the process can take a few business days to complete.

NOTE:  If you link your PayPal account to a bank account, you must also transfer enough money into your PayPal balance to cover any Second Life charges.  Linden Lab will not wait several days for money to go from your bank to PayPal to them, they insist on instant payment.  If they don't get it, the transaction will fail.

Linden Lab will not accept debit or prepaid cards, even those that say "Visa" or "MasterCard".  Only actual credit cards.

If you are seeing a message that you've hit your limit, it's not a serious problem.  When you first start buying $L, you are only allowed a small amount at first.  After a few days, this limit is increased.  Linden Lab does this to help prevent money laundering schemes and people using stolen credit cards to buy $L.  For more details, see here: https://secondlife.com/my/lindex/describe-limits.php
