I think that cannot allow public access to my sim

I'm running the sim 3 months now having unchecked the allow public access point in about land/access tab.

Recently I try to allow public access by checking this.  I have nobody to offer teleport but the estate managers.   They teleport alright but I want to make sure that other people too may come.  So I tried to offer teleport to an alt of mine and it could noway whatsoever teleport.  The place was showing in the map and in search but the teleport effort result was always "no valid parcel found".

The managers told me to restart and if that fails to file a support ticket.  But support says to file a ticket only when no solution will be found in answers, forums etc.

Do not know if an alt should be able to teleport and if not being able to do so, this means others can't either.

I restarted the sim but nothing changed.

So I appreciate all advise before to file a support ticket..

P.S. I filed the ticket and got the answer to uncheck allow access to group when I check public access.  This gets the accepted answer kudos as it worked alright.

Check the access settings for both the region and the parcel (even it the region comprises only one parcel, the same size as the region itself).
