I've created a HUD for limited custom camera functionality.  When I use the HUD, my camera functions as expected and does not revert when I move.  I gave an early working version to a friend who informed me that her camera reverts to the default rear view when she moves.

We checked the suspect debug settings, the suspect preferences settings, but we can't find a setting that stops this behavior.  We did uncheck the "Reset camera position on avatar movement." but it did not stop the revert.  I had her change to a default avatar, which removed all attachments.  She is using Firestorm, but we also tried the SL viewer.

I am at a loss.  Does anyone have any ideas what would be causing this?

I don't check ownership.  If you own the HUD then you're a legit owner.  I can give the HUD to any of my alts and it works as expected, but I'm using the same computer/same viewer.  I'm going to try using it on a different PC, see if a default install might have something set my viewer doesn't.

EDIT:  Just installed Firestorm 32-bit on my Asus tablet with Windows 8.1, brand new never before installed on the system.  It works as expected, which only deepens the mystery... what in the heck is going on with this person's viewer(s)?  Or is it something else?

SOLVED - She wiped her system and the problem disappeared.  She also found she had a bunch of malware on her computer.  Stuff with names like "HackTools, patcher, keygen, wpakill and gendows".  Not sure which is malware and which isn't.
