Refund or transfer of item?

So I use this account to store my payment info and I gift items to my main. So I've been up for a long time and accidentally bought a $10 item to this account. I would like a refund or a transfer of the item to my main. Is this at all possible or am I screwed? :( thanks

It is possible if the merchant wants to give a free copy of a ten dollar no trans item.

Sorry.   Most merchants won't do that as there is no way you can prove your alt is your alt to them.  Also, you don't 'own' what you buy.  Under the TOS, you receive a license to use the item in SL on ONE avatar account with the permissions it comes with.  Refunds are generally only possible if you can return the item to the merchant and even then it's rare that you will get a refund as most have an All Sales Final policy.
