interacting with objects while in mouselook

I'm using Firestorm 4.6.9.42974.

While in mouselook, alt mouselook is allowing me to move the cursor without moving the camera view, but when i click on anything i am unable to actually click on the object. Instead my cursor returns to the center of the screen preventing me from interacting with the objects.  Does anyone know why this is? a setting on my computer or in my Firestorm?  How do I fix it?  A few weeks ago it worked, and I'm unaware of what changed.
