Hi,

I am new and I'm afraid I might of moved to fast, but I spent $1000L on a AO/HUD (Moonlights) package thats suppose to be loaded with animations.  I thought you were able to just "wear" it and it brought a nice little menu up so you could easily use second life.  However, when I "wear" it, it just brings up this huge purse thing that I cannot do anything with?

I think I read somewhere that you had to "rez" these things to the ground, do something, then it pick up and you're good to go?  There were not any instructions.

Would a more seasoned resident care to assist?  I feel a bit bummed.

Sounds like it just needs to be opened!

Rez the object onto the ground, right-click, and select 'Open'

I also suggest working on some freebie AO's so you can get used to it all.

If you want a male AO you can try this. Never had it before though.

Like I said, pick up some freebies one and get the feel of it. Then you can try it. It might make you feel better.

muffinunsane is right, it needs to be unpacked. just thought i'd throw in a link that might be of some use regarding opening boxes: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Opening-boxes/ta-p/700185

some merchants package their items in bags/purses/boxes that are meant to be worn and that triggers a holding animation and all you have to do is touch the item and it will be copied/moved to your inventory. you could try that before searching for a sandbox/a place to rez if you're not already on build enabled land.

welcome to sl - it gets easier! :matte-motes-smile:
