Thanks Prof and Wulfie! Wulfie I like the way your formatted it - that makes more sense to me. I still get an error - "No overload for method llRegionSay 'takes "3" arguments" Isn't llRegionSay(owner,secret_channel,"hide"); three arguments? Or.. I haven't defined "hide"? I chnaged it to RegionSayTo and it compiled! Not sure if it works as I want yet as I have to run to work - TY for these tips! PS Any good books on LSL or I guess Java? as it related to SL that would help me learn some of the rules as I dip more into scripting in SL? PPS Prof - Removing the extra } then created an error to add the }! Sorry my formatting noobness prob made that look weird.

I have been trying to tach myself a lsl and going through content in the forums. But I am stuck. What I am creating is a HUD that turns a worn object on and off. I thought I had the perfect script but it changed it for anyone around with the same object. So I learned about UUID to create the channels. Using this post i thought I had it but no. While the object code compiles fine the HUD code doesn't. On the last line of the HUD code I get this error "Type or namespace definition, or end-of-file expected". When I recheck the HUD sample code, I cant get that to compile either. Would love to solve this myself but like a monkey on a keyboard my random changes have been a failure. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
