  1. 29,198 m2 of flat mainland land for sale with road frontage and quiet respectful neighbors. I'm not here to cheat you or be cheated. If you want a nice tract of land take a look. What more can you ask for? http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Chindo/216/192/50
  2. Hello, I'm wondering what is a resonable price for Mainland. I see so many different prices on lands I visit, it makes me wonder just WHAT is the going rate. Now, I see some BUYERS are paying 0.34 per m2 for mainland and of course some rediculously priced parcels that no one in their right mind would buy. I'm not trying to set a price here because I know lands varry with location, but how much variation in price is fair and what constitutes cheating the consumer. I was offered land for 2.0 L per m2. I heard the argument " I payed much more for this when I orginally bought it ". So, what IS a fair price?
  3. Maybe you've read a my post about cleaning up the mainland. I'll admit I'm a newcomer to mainland ownership, but not to land ownership in general here in SL. Let me start by saying I find very little use for a 16m2 parcel. I know they CAN be used for all kinds of things. But for the life of me I can't understand why someone would hold on to a 16m2 in the middle of a region or anywhere, for that matter. My feelings are these. If LL would limit the size of a parcel to 512m2 we mainlanders would have a lot less problem getting the land we desire and selling the lands we own. People that go premium can swap 512m2 LL home land for 512m2 Mainland, so why not make this the standard for subdivision. I'm sure that in designing LL roads and public use projects the 16m2 feature for dividing land is good for drawing curves, but for general mainland property division it's a nightmare for everyone. We've all seen these really nice regions for sale only to be stopped in our tracks by the micro parcel in the corner. What it means is you can't own the whole region and you can't resell it as an entire region. I see so many parcels hacked to pieces by "land holding companies" or "advertising agency" who's location wouldn't even get a look even if the property owners next door walked by it everyday. Is the intent to hold the entire region hostage to the owner of a 16m2 parcel that is of no use to anyone? I've seen these lined up in one after another, not only on a road but in the middle of a region. I'm puzzled. And further more, who walks on roads? I know some of us do, but not enough of us to justify a billboard 16m2.
  4. Recently I filed a support ticket on 5 abandoned micro parcels that bordered my land. One of the abandoned parcels contained a billboard sign that had been there at least two years. With the help of Jason Linden he consolidated them and II was able to purchase them for a minimal amount of Lindens. My original parcel was smaller than 512 and now with the help of Linden support I was able to clean up the freeloader and make the small piece of land which borders hwy 9 a more appealing place for anyone who might purchase it in the future and the land owners across hwy 9. I've heard a lot of bad things about Linden Support, but this transaction took a total of two days. I know there are many more micro parcels out there that land owners have connected to their parcels. Why not file a support ticket on them and clean up the Mainland. Thank you Jason Linden.
  5. I believe this would be a good starting place to learn Blender. Watch the tutorials. http://www.blendercookie.com/
  6. I was told to remove my attachment a few moments ago. The attachment was my entire avatar. LOL They told me the saw me as a large doghnut shape and a sphere, and were pretty upset that they couldn't see my avatar. I told them they could see it perfectly with Viewer 3.0, but again they argued that not everyone uses Viewer 3.0. I even offered to move it the avatar was causing them problems, and I did move. They didn't respond to my querry and promply teleported. Yes, I see a problem brewing.
