As a venue owner, I am always looking for 'fresh' ways to bring people in to our shows... lately, that has been more of a challenge, but isn't that why we are here in the first place? This IS a game, after all! Search to me, is dying. Yes, we list our events in there. I have one gal who runs our online calendar, and another gal who posts our events in search... and then a full marketing team who sends out notices to advertising groups, and we still only get in about 2-4 new faces each show. We do not do 'back to back' shows very often... I don't know how some club owners can do that.. RL does have to happen sooner or later, right? Well... I have also looked in search, and noticed some venue's listing an event multiple times... what a waste! I really don't think Search is all that hot anymore... what I DO like, is the new "Destinations" and I have submitted our venues but I still hear 'crickets'... how long should it take to get recognized by LL editors? *sighs* Anyone with 'fresh' ideas on bringing people in... let me know!

Thank you everyone for your ideas and suggestions! We decided we actually like Molvena region, so we snagged it up last night! One thing helped us alot... going to www.gridsurvey.com and looking up our current parcels regions, and the ones we were contemplating... We discovered the region we were having problems with was really being over stressed on the server, so the issues were NOT in our heads! Phew! (takes off the straight jacket) Now... to move everything! Anyone know the number for Allied Van Lines?

Ok... here goes... lots of questions.... My wife and I own Mainland only.... we own parcels scattered among 3 different regions... We are paying to LL direct, $233.50 USD a month for 70656 sqm and 16165 prims. We are both premium members (Why... I dunno) We are having problems with our Mainland... lots of lag, LL is not doing weekly region restarts so we are constantly calling them in via Live Chat.. it's a pain! Yes, we run Burlesque / Theatrical shows... but come on! It's gotten BAD recently! Sooo... we're looking at our complaints.. and wondering, would we be better owning a whole region? Private vs. Mainland.... The things we HATE about where we have our clubs now.. is.... 1) limited to 40 avatars 2) the "Object Restore" feature is NOT working! When we change scenery / stage sets, the "Object Restore" feature saves a LOT of heartaches! Rumor has it, the owner of the coordinates 0,0,0 in a region, gets to control that feature.. is that true? Or.. do we NEED to go over to Private land to get that to work? 3) having to call in to request region restarts... it's a hassle! IF we get a whole region of Mainland, would we be able to have these things that we want? Also... What IS Class 5? What are the "other" classes??? and how do we determine what class our land is?!?!?!

Is there a place to find a listing of all land Gov. Linden has up for sale at $1L / sqm? I would buy a full region on Mainland if it were good... but I do have more questions.. like.. is it only Private lands (Not mainland) that can hold 100 avi's?
