Bare Rose (B@R) is my favorite anime/manga costume shop. They have huge amounts of stuff for decent prices. Great work too. You can find them on the Marketplace and in-world. I recommend the in-world shop. It's impressive.

I've never heard of the blob you describe but I do know that skilled hackers can steal whole avatars. Copybot is not dead.

I'm not sure reading the description who's supposed to be the veteran griefer. When I think of all the griefers I've encountered in SL, here's what springs to mind: Orbits and cages Rezzing hundreds of flying genitalia images Chat-spamming Giant avatars going Godzilla on some poor resident's sim Rezzing megaprims just outside the neighboring property line so it overlaps the neighbor's home without their being able to return it I've seen other forms of griefing but these are by far the most common I've personally seen in-world. One really popular one is going in dinosaur avatar to a modern city sim and stomping around till someone bans them. I've occasionally seen mechs doing this too. Griefers are the very definition of black hat. They are the scourge of the gaming world and love to make people miserable. Check out the Minecraft spoof 'Griefer' for more inspiration.
