If I can clarify, the basic rod is free, the pro rod is 900L$ and there is a more expensive one that you can get on credit and pay back through your "winnings" if you so desire. While it may seem like it is nothing but a money sink to you of course it can be, until you get to a point where your earnings finally overtake your (for lack of a better word) investment. Of course you do not need to spend anything, simply reinvesting what you get but like anything this is the slow way. Multiplying buoys are brilliant, the landowners who actually fund the game for traffic can set it at 1x - 10x and while the higher prized games are stuffed full of people and therefore lag it is quite easy to find 3-4x quite easily just by asking and break even easily. While I am in no way a novice I regulally end up with the price of my worms back plus an extra worm or two as well using these special buoys. Like much of SL it is a way to pass the time, and far better than sitting on camping chairs as you get a chance to chat amongst people, something I notice very rarely happens spontaneously elsewhere. PS. I should point out for full disclosure that I am a large shareholder of this company through SL Capex but these are my own thoughts and not endorsed by the company or the creator itself. What has anyone really got to lose by trying it out?

You simply got unlucky I am afraid, I myself have had nothing short of a positive experience of it and though I know it sucks that someone did that you cannot tar everyone with the same brush, the majority are very honest and upfront. I am sorry about your losses, but there are over 50 companies now that have nothing to do with the scammer in question; but in all honestly it is not the exchanges fault really...things like this do happen even in real life and that is why here we have laws about having multiple identities... (That is not to say I have not chosen shares that went down from time to time, we all have off-days lol) ~~~ And in furtherance to the comment made above yours "to the halycon days", are you serious???! The "good old days" of banking and gambling were nothing but a scam-fest of ponzi schemes and theft on a scale never seen before in history, the ONLY exchange to come out of those dark days is SlCapex, and that is because the owner Skip takes it very seriously, not just everyone is allowed to list, and if anyone has seen some of my comments to CEOs they will see that they are grilled intensely as to how much money they need, the value they put on their company, what they will use the money for and in some cases their mental state (when they overvalue their companies to preposterous levels)

I am wanting to put in some money into my SL account, however am confused by the mixed messages of the so called guide...does anyone know how to do it with credit card, what the limit is and how much it will likely cost in fees? :) Also how fast it is to get processed? :) I want to add too that I am from England, so dollars are not my first currency of course, will Linden be able to handle that or will there be issues?

I haven't logged in for a while and noticed I got a message telling me about a ranking, but the link explaining what the hell is going on was omitted...can anyone explain please or point me in the right direction? :)
