I used to run around with some friends, started a dance club, and an RP sim. I would like to find an active RP sim for sci fi/space type things, (see: firefly, buffy, etc) or a club to hang out at.

I want to purchase a parcel and pay only SL the monthly fee. How do I do this? Upgrade premium?

I want to own a parcel (1/16 region) for the 937 prim allowance. But all the auctions and stuff I see are rentals for a weekly fee. I only want to pay linden labs. So can I do this buy signing up for premium and upgrading the 512m land given?
