to begin with I have made clothing before using the standard uv templates, and I downloaded the multi chan hax and all seems to be working fine I am able to texture the multi chan hax template to start a new clothing item from scratch what I am looking for how to take a clothing item created using the standard uv template and be able to view it and edit it on the multi chan hax I saw a youtube video showing a time lapse of clothing creation and in it she was able to view the clothing item on both templates interchangeable, and go back and forth as she worked on it... but I cant seem to figure it out on my own specifically I am working with the upper body original uv template and the multi chan hax template that has the chest in the center and the sides of the back on each side thanks in advance

YOUR inexperience is obvious to all adults that are listening to you. and that is something that cant be taught or told, you have to live life and have the experience under your belt to know better, I am sorry but in this case the best we can do is say "Because I said so" I am sure you heard your parents tell you that plenty. I call BS right there. and without citing any reference to anything that DOES routinely occur in SL...I will say that even the RACIEST R rated movie doesnt compare to things i have seen in PUBLIC in SL...an X or XXX rating would be more accurate. you dont see graphic sex in R movies, you see simulated sex without showing penetration, more often then not you do not even see genitals, and you hardly ever see an erection or open vagina... In SL however not only can you see these items in use by the residents, but signs in stores showing these items and how they work with closeup pictures, stores that sell animations with displays that you can hop on and try out... No this virtual world is NOT like anything you have experienced in the Real World, and it isnt for KIDS, and no matter what you THINK your maturity level is, a minor, a teenager, a child, you can all be called Kids... It is our JOB as adults to make these decisions for you, and no matter how many stomps of your feet, your opinion really DOESNT matter, it isnt even RELEVANT, but we listened to it, thats the best you can hope for, is we listen, think and then STILL make the decision based on what is best for you.... NOW if only LL would do JUST THAT, WHAT IS BEST for everyone involved.... THERE IS NO WAY on gods green earth, that SL can be made Child friendly, there just isnt, they would have to kick everyone out scrub the entire grid back to day one, and then remarket it as a family friendly zone, and then MONITOR everything. Which they will NEVER bother doing....

but my dear you are under 18, and with that lesser age comes inexperience and ignorance (that doesnt mean stupid, it just means you dont know everything) So let me tell you something your parents should have, and if they did (good for them!) and if you don't believe them, please hear it from someone else.... You must assume that EVERY adult that has any interest in you as a minor, is NOT someone to trust, that they ARE looking to harm you for thier own reasons, that they are PREDATORS.... it is a SORRY and SAD fact.... because the ones NOT looking for anything devious, are also not that interested in you... the world is full of horrible people, it isnt all sunshine and flowers, and you just have to do your best to get through without too many bumps and bruises along the way... you clearly have a very innocent and naieve view, which is fine, it means you havent experienced the dirtier side of humanity...but there are many of us who have, and know that beyond it being more than anyone under 18 should see, hear, or experience, this also is about protecting the adult user who isnt looking to prey upon the minors, but is only seeking like minded adults to play with in the way they always have been free to do so in SL, from legal prosecution for unknowingly having interacted in some way with a minor.... I had barbies....None of them had highly detailed open labia vaginas that could urinate on command into kens mouth....(I purposely chose the propper terms for parts as to not offend anyone by using slang terms) In SL you could see just about anything including things that make ADULTS that ordinarily considered themselves to be "kinky" shudder....things that a minor isnt prepared for, and shouldnt see... And if you dont think so, youre either too young or too inexperienced yourself to truelly fathom the situation.

ok this is like the 4th time i tried to post error after error..... I posted a lengthy comment on the first post regarding the teen migration when it was only the 16&17yr olds about what a bad idea this is.... but to answer those who have said what the big deal is and teens have been in SL illegally for years... the difference is LEGAL, before the TOS had our back in the LEGAL department. (not that they meant to, it was just an added bonus) before, you could fall back on: legally according to the TOS everyone in SL is an adult over the age of 18, and that if you as an adult did ANYTHING with anyone you were allowed to assume that they were 18, and if the other person "turned out" to be a minor, well they had to lie, to get in, so the burden was off of you legally RL world comparison... you go into a bar that is 18 and over to enter period, they check ids at the door, Sally, 16, has a fake ID, and BOB who met her in the club, is 25, he takes her home and bonks her brains out, Sallys dad finds out and calls the Cops, BOB can say, she said she was 18, she was in a bar that only admits 18 and up and they check id...i think this will help BOB's case ALOT.... Whereas if BOB goes to the MALL and picks up SALLY, noone cares if she SAID she was 18....it will be declared HIS FAULT... Its about the burden of responsibility now we have to act here in SL as we would in RL, and that sucks I have already made changes to my Profile and my Land I have my own little content warning hopefully THAT will be enough to keep me out of trouble..... but i think it is a mistake on all levels to let anyone under 18 access any mainland areas even PG I have been in skin stores on PG land that didnt cover the naughty bits, and clothing stores on PG sims that sell clothes that dont cover the naughty bits, etc...ad nauseum.... anyone under 18 should be restricted to a seperate area of the grid, a seperate continent, and only approved PG materials should be allowed on that sim, SKINS without private parts for starters, and only educators and approved adults as was in the teen grid should be allowed to intereact with the teens on this seperate continent, there should be no cross contamination period, no search, no ims, no transfer of goods period. and have this continent out of camming range of any other inhabited areas.... protect the adult content from the kids, and protect the kids from the adult content because frankly there will be pervs lining up rubbing their "hands" and licking thier lips waiting on PG land to make new freinds when the teens arrive....and if you dont think so, your naive.... THEY SHOULD protect current members names PERIOD. whether they charge a fee or make that protection for paid members only in order to create revenue to pay for the man hours of adding such list of names to the "no-no" list, I really dont care, but anything less is basically bending us over a table and giving it to us hard without lube.... which unfortunately because they are running the show they CAN do and all we can do is choose whether we continue in SL or not.... Now since i know they are going the no-lube route.... I beg.... PLEASE show usernames EVERYWHERE display names are shown, WITHOUT the ability to turn off usernames... so display names can be turned off but NOT usernames over peoples heads it will either show display name over username or just username but NEVER just display name this goes for over their head, in chat, in profile, in friendslist in grouplists, object creator and owner fields, etc...EVERYWHERE let all existing users have an automatic default of their ORIGINAL NAME without the stupid period as thier display name without having to "create a display name" I dont even use Viewer 2, i am still using the original, so i dont even know if ill be able to see display names or set one or anything I am strongly considering the BANCLONE system i heard about but im not so keen on it being a reocurring charge instead of a one time fee...5000L a year seems a bit steep for something that only works on lands that are using the system...but thats off topic a bit... So i am curious when this debacle is supposed to hit the main grid? and I PROPOSE that we all skip SL that day...ALL of us that object, Tell all your SL friends, let us SHOW LL that they DO need their current population, by not showing up that day..... my 2L's

I would love to just simply say DO NOT implement this display name thing AT ALL!!! but i know you wont listen.. For those of us who have been in SL for years, our names have become important identifiers. We have businesses based upon them. so it is not about how we see ourselves it is about how others see us. and if they have to search through a bunch of OTHER people with the same name to find the one they meant to, this is a problem. IF you are going to go ahead and RUIN things like this, at least have the decency to grandfather existing residents, by making their existing username unavailable for use as a display name, youre protecting the Linden name, protect your existing users or... HEY heres a revenue idea since we all know that is what moves mountains. HOW about all existing users with PAID memberships, can elect to have thier name added to the not available for display name list.With the default set so that existing paid members names cant be used unless they say otherwise. I think that would increase the amount of paid memberships overnight!! for example John Smith is a paid existing user, he elects for his name to be not allowed for display names this would prevent anyone from having the display name John Smiith or john smith, etc... but anyone could have the Display name of John insertlastnamehere, or even John Smith123, or John J Smith, etc...there are still millions of combinations available without taking EXACT copy of an existing name I think it is important to protect the identity and ease of use for existing residents. Also i think the reasoning behind this added unneccessary change it a load of BS... titlers are a dime a dozen, i had one since year one, you can put ANY title above your head, but it is simple for anyone, new or old, to distinguish true identy.,. if you want classier with less lag, create your own group, give yourself a group tag title! why does everyone have to be inconvienced for such a silly thing.... and if it is truelly about new users, give them the ability to pick thier last name for thier username, and since they have to be unique it would protect existing names IN short I strongly appose the display name totally, but since your not going to listen to me about it, at least protect the names of existing residents, and at the very least the paid members!!!
