  1. Unfortunately cookies wasn't the answer, for some reason it was a connection issue with the ISP, so in saying another internet connection could solve the music streaming problem, apparently my ISP was blocking the stream so I couldn't hear it, but fixing the connection issue by getting a different connection would help that I had found in this difficult issue to solve. SOO it wasn't a SL Viewer issue or FireStorm issue but it was an ISP connection issue. NOW I'm able to hear music streams again with no issues. I Trust this will help. Einsman Schlegel
  2. I think I found the answer but I don't know how to do it. On my current network access the music stream will not play but when I go over to another network it plays now I'm completely baffled by this as to why one network won't let me play it and the other one will. Now I think I need to do a clean installation of Second Life so it asks me to allow cookies. When I installed Second Life on a new machine it asked me if I would allow cookies or not, I clicked Allow and then suddenly the stream plays again. Now on the blocked machine it won't play and I've tried a complete reinstall of Second Life but it does no longer ask me the question Second Life Uses Cookies Do I ALLOW THIS? How do I get the installation of Second Life to ask me this question again? I believe it will solve the streaming music problem. Thanks for an answer in advance!

  4. Ok I've run out of ideas perhaps someone could help me I've apparently blocked a music stream on a parcel and now I can't hear it anymore in the SL Viewer is it possible to unblock a music stream so it can be played again? Thanks in advance for an answer.
  5. I'm sure its deep but they can give me a buzz if and willing... Einsman
  6. You know who you are.. if you're still around and available give me a contact and I'll add you. Einsman.
  7. I'd like to know if there are any software programs out there like Blender able to sculpt and upload into Second Life. I seem to had forgotten the other choices of software available.
  8. As a serious thought process of mine has proceeded, I've begun the thought process, of the technology field in the real world. I've held several jobs in the real world which required use of technology and some much more advanced than what Second Life has to offer. As I realize as i've had engaged in the use of technology for most of my life, in the real world.. I question the use of it. The future is probably what technology has to offer, but I've come in contact with many, who hadn't really had the need, or had use of it in the real world or feel the need for it. As we get further and further along, what do you people think of this? Einsman.
  9. I wondered the past few months.. Is the servers based on JavaServer Faces TM - or based on Oracle?
  10. And i'm still trying to figure out the purpose of the RL is. oppossed to SL.. HA.
  11. It means.... absolutely nothing at all since all that's created is essencially destroyed. The only thing affective in this world would seem the 'police' since they're the only ones who give the judgement to the person if one is done wrong or not. Put on a happy face? After you've been through hell and back and knowing what you did wrong? Well, Lets just leave the police up to that shall we?
  12. Of all the years I've been here, yes, I agree there wouldn't be a landing spot (which is crucial to the new people landing in) I myself, wouldn't 'WANT' the 'GENERAL, welcome areas' closed but however, new people do not know where these sandboxes are AND above that they do not know they can make a landing spot on these public sandboxes an welcome areas just in case of a crash. If the general welcome areas WERE used the way they were 'intended' :matte-motes-mad:Such of course as voice being disabled as it should had been years ago, or never even implemented in the first place, but all I see at these areas are just flat out annoyances, griefs and so on that does no benefit to anything. From what I can tell you from experience.. There are huge differences and I do mean HUGE differences when I've changed welcome areas from Ahern to Araipama and NONE of the activities I see at Arapaima occur as does what goes on in Ahern. So... even I remembering... the good ol days, when we had Stage 4 which surved a purpose for all of us instead of what it turned into. I would LOVE to see Stage 4 brought back as new people would beable to gather with the old and converse about what's been on. Peace out. Einsman Schlegel.
  13. Hmm... I must be talking to 'Teens' since I never 'see' them in adult areas, not worth my time.
  14. Sure, care to fight about it in real life? Come find me I'll be waiting. Don't piss behind a computer screen.
  15. Then I'd vote for turning them into something useful, such as sandboxes.
  16. I put up a vote. In my mind, General welcome area usage should be banned and the only areas that remain are the tutorial regions. Seeing since they've gone far beyond normal usage and no longer have a public 'need' I believe that will fit in nicely. Einsman
  17. I'm curious, as I've began my studies again on the importance of Math in SL. As I'd say so far I've seen Algebra I being the highest level so far of what I've 'seen'. Or am I missing something? Eins.
  18. First off... which viewer are you using? Eins.
  19. As I've noticed on Viewer 2, a lot of people seem to be having some trouble with this new viewer. As I can see its a completely new layout, it took me awhile to get used to, but once you get to know the viewer its just like getting to know anybody, you start getting familiar with it. If anybody needs the assistance with the new viewer (Viewer 2) I'm normally available inworld to be spoken to or you could simply reply here with what you need. I'm open for assistance. As well as my partner Reincaschi Reinard, either of us are inworld at any given time. Peace out. Einsman Schlegel
  20. I've had the same issues when loading up the new updated viewer. It's not a 'required' update so I recommend if you still have the backup extraction file to the previous version, I'd uninstall the latest Viewer 2 file and reload. Until a 'required' update comes along, I won't update (and use other viewers when it just hits the need to.) Good luck on fixing this texture issue.
  21. I'm currently in search of the SL Viewer Source code, if its even available and open for modification. If anyone knows point the way. Schlegel.
  22. Where is the open source code available for use if we wish to modify the viewer content and is it available for modification?
