Everyting I type in local chat or IM's shows up twice. I have lowered bandwidth, I have restarted the router and rebooted my pc. Does anybody know what to do about this?

Thanks for the responses. The thing is, I did file a ticket and their answer is contact support and have log files ready. So I guess I'll have to wait for their awesome customer service to reply, since I don't have a premium or consierge account

I filed a bug report a few days ago and I got told to contact support and keep logfiles ready. Ok, so I have been searching the site for an hour and the only way I see to contact support is by submitting a support case form. There used to be phone numbers but I can't find those anywhere. So does anybody know another way to contact support besides filling in yet another form?

Thank you all for your replies. As you can see in my orinial post I did clear cache, relogged several times and tried to do the character test. To have a folder with skin, shape, hair etc. to replace all I'm wearing didn't work since SL kept telling me it couldn't change until clothing and shape are loaded. And yes, my inventory was completely fetched. I found the solution myself. Since I'm not a fan of having stuff in my inventory I NEVER use, I turned the LL library off in debug settings. This saves almost 2k in the inventory. However, by doing so the character test doesn't work. So when I turned it back on I was able to do the char test and finaly replace my own things again.

The answer to this is pretty simple. Each skin comes in 4 variants: dark tan, dark tan (cleavage), dark tan HB and dark tan HB (cleavage). HB means hairbase, so those skins do have a hairbase on the scalp and the skin you mentioned has a dark one, just like the eyebrows. If you don't want to wear it that way you should wear either the dark tan or dar tan (cleavage) Hope this helps

So far I tried relog and clear cache, character test female, set renderunloadedavatar to true, logged in on 3 different sims. When I try to wear other clothes, bald base or anything like that I get the message: Can't change appearance until clothing and shape are loaded. When I rebake textures my avi will show as a noob avatar with attachements but I still can't wear shape, skin or clothing.
