Yes, the problem is SL not windows 8. Everything discussed here about clean wipe etc....been there done all that, safe mode, cleared drivers and reinstalled latest from intel for my lenovo laptop with an ssd which is very fast. Everything works including my zune software, youtube related just not SL anymore with windows 8. I guess I'll just have to wait until SL releases a new viewer after all the other viewers working since 2007. :matte-motes-crying:
