    CATWA vs Lelutka

    I use Lelutka's Simone Bento 99% of the time. I love the look of this head and find it easy to customize.

    I also use Catwa's Catya. This one is my favorite so far but like some others mentioned, the HUD can be difficult to learn. I am not taking full advantage of Catwa's product by a long shot because I just don't have the time.  She has a more youthful look than I normally go for but I find Catya a good choice and enjoy wearing the head.

    Lelutka is much more streamlined and personally, I'm happy with the animations and love the appliers from various creators. 

    Here's a side by side comparison of the two wearing similar makeup (not the same but the look is fairly minimal). Lelutka Simone is more mature looking, my preference. 

    I also have many other heads but these are the two I work with the most.  Genesis is a fav or mine but I can't ever seem to get the head/body seam to look as perfect as Lelutka and Catwa's.

    I'm the Office Director of my firm. I do not go to any events for the most part. I rarely show up even for the annual holiday parties and never for our summer party. I can't think of anything more boring. I like the people I work with, and I really love my job, but once the day is done, I just want to be home. I'm not much of a party person in general - it's difficult for me to just hang out for hours talking and I don't drink at all anymore (I take a medication which prohibits it) so it's just tedious to put it mildly. 

    We have monthly management meetings which basically rehash the same BS every time and nothing ever changes. I'm obligated to attend those unfortunately.  

    A couple of years back, we brought in a motivational speaker for management to help us come up with a company slogan.  Spent the entire day in a room bouncing ideas back and forth and, we all finally came up with something wonderful.  Here it is 2 years later, and it's never come up again.  And the person cost us $10,000 to do this. FFS.

    Where are the best beaches?

    I've been enjoying Surfer's Bay. It's adult rated, so nudity abounds but, there are many that wear bathing suits too.

    The bonus is there are actual waves there which seems to be hard to find in a lot of beach sims.  Very nice vibe and landscaped nicely too. Very photogenic.

    I hear you on the Catwa. For my main ava, I use the Lelutka Simone 99.999% of the time.

    I have many other mesh heads but, that one feels most like *me*.  The Catwa head I use has a slightly younger/youthful appearance which isn't something I normally project but it does come in handy at times.

    I happen to like Genesis also, because their heads are slightly unusual in comparison but there aren't enough creators making appliers for them.

    Question re Purchase

    The body doesn't come with appliers. There are built in skins from Glam Affair (which are quite nice).

    You will need to purchase appliers from other creators, for both body and head. Nearly all creators sell the body appliers separately from those that are for the face, with makeup. 

    Not sure why you say you can't find the Maitreya sim. It's easily located in search. The re-delivery is located at the main desk area, if I remember correctly.

    SL is messing up for me tonight. I went to check out a shopping sim which recently upgraded.One I loved years ago and had forgotten about (clothing creator, Lemania - The French Farm). I was lagging badly and doing that walking in place thing for a long while but it provided me with an opportunity to grab a shot of how I look today. Totally unprepared and in the moment, didn't try to fix anything, adjust lighting, whatever.  Pretty much captures how I am on a daily basis when exploring.  Just sized it down to fit here.

    Many of these most likely have the Gatcha machines at their stores. You might be able to pick up something very cool for minimal funds.

    Maybe it had to be restarted or something. It was mobbed when I was there, and it took me days to get in. I'd think it wouldn't close down until midnight SLT, but maybe I'm wrong?

    Ok so Rioko, knows more than the person who lives with the Llama!

    No DJ'ing this evening. You'd think living with him I'd know but I guess he made the decision after I'd gone to sleep.  And forget him remembering at 6:30 am when he saw me off to work!

    Ghosty likes camping now and then. I absolutely, do not. He winds up taking his daughter for some bonding time instead and I get to spend a week end getting mani/pedis

    I actually noticed that thread a few days ago. I was surprised as I thought *she* was irrelevant at this point. 

    So much carrying on. We all have enough stress in our lives. I'm happy to have met, and more, still know so many lovely people in SL, and prefer to keep my focus maintaining and renewing old friendships.
