As a land owner with renters - let me say its not an easy thing to fix. The person is either the owner or a land agent for the owner. They may not be able to give an immediate refund. I'd send a notecard to the owner of Shamrock Estates inquirying about the offer they had for a one month free tenancy and then explain you didn't stalk them. However, if you did communicate with them or an agent over and over like - that can be considered stalking in many cases. Many of these lands have land groups that membership in them are required before rent is paid. Were you a member of that group? If not, they may have taken the rent as a gift without knowing the real reason for its insertion into the account. Secondlife is just as complicated as the real world is at times. Anyone renting should pay attention to the rules before dropping any lindens into the rentbox.

I usually know what the answers are to this type of question. However, the latest SL Viewer (downloaded tonite) and the latest Firestorm failed to bring up the TOS. If there is a workaround - please note it here.

Afterchills Ballroom where everyday is a different theme of music - we need at least one DJ a day. All music must be danceable - must be from classical dance to big band & Jazz variety. Very rarely will the ballroom have rock or trance needs. Host/hostesses are needed to help keep the flow of the room going and to help people with dance balls & couples dance system. Yes, the Afterchills Ballroom is having its first real event on Friday morning. Note sure which forum to post this in. :matte-motes-sunglasses-1: I own Adventure North Campgrounds and have from time to time have ghost story nights. Well, we need new stories. :matte-motes-nerdy: So, anyone writing one or two and sending it to my colleague Cailin Meridoc in a notecard - will be in the running to having the stories published inworld. With a copy going to the winners. 14 winners - 7 for childrens tales and 7 for adult tales (keep it in PG to Mature levels folks - kids may hear it or see it) Main prizes - a 7 day week free rent at a tent or Under the Stars (primitive site) on Adventure North. Deadline: August 31, 2011 at 12 Midnight. Winners will be announced September 15th with the finished book available on Octoboo 1st in time for Halloween. Using latest version SL v2 and was thinking that Search and other menus should be viewable. Black background and trim on screen. No options in preferences anymore for skins. What's going on and does a fix exist. Otherwise, its back to the 3rd party viewers for me.
