  23. Doesn't work well on a 19" monitor. The video takes up so much real estate that you cannot access anything at the bottom of the screen. Make your intro video smaller. Tried it on another machine ( 22" widescreen) with a better graphics card and larger monitor and it worked quite well. I think this has good potential to help keep up on SL business without loading a viewer. If that is your objective then you need to design around machines using base graphics cards and base operating systems.
  24. Welcome to LL kim. Sometimes you need to just look at other points of view. If support issues as well as governance issues got handled in an prompt manner more people would stay in the game. I've seen my own properties as well as so called Linden protected areas get encroached by Mega prims. The people who pay for the experience of having a "protected" view or have land where they can no longer sail a boat end up getting a negative spin on the SL experiance. Don't you want to decrease your churn rate and get more permanent subscribers? These people leave or spend little time in world because LL has a bad track record of not handling Abuse or Governance issues in a prompt manner. I've seen land abandoned because encroached prims are not removed. This I am sure is one of many issues. Server side lag issues seem to have increased. I hear this from lots of people. Yet it seems to be ignored. I spend a 1/4 of the time in world compared to last year because of lag. Yet nothing is done. I have the same connection, same machine but running Traceroutes shows your network to be a culprit of dropped packets. In closing you can build as many "X Factors" as you want, but people will not be able to use a product that empowers them if the end result is fustration. Blaccard Burks http://www.rentmainland.com
