THINK ABOUT THAT - who, by definition, wants to live the glamorous life but doesn't have the money to do so?  TEENAGERS!!  The very same teenagers who will be lying about their ages, eager to make big sweet L$ by dancing on poles and entertaining the married men of America in skyboxes all over Zindra.  And there WILL, repeat WILL, be unscrupulous club owners who just don't give a damn, playing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" with teenagers and exploiting their enthusiasm and naivete for the filthy lucre of catering to the same perv crowd that forced LL to change the TOS several years ago to ban ageplay in general.

I have a big shock for you, those teenagers lying about their age have been among us from the very beginning of SL, so for those in Zindra nothing changes, the teens that are there are iligal and should be ARed already and be continued to be ARed

I completely agree that there should be some way of tagging minors so that adults (whether we want to or not) will behave appropriately around minors.

I would hope that you already behave appropriatly at the sims where you can expect minors to be around, they will only be in pg/g sims so nothing is changing in that regard

If your absolutely sure it cannot be done now, I would love to see the proof though. Because I know back 2 years ago it could be done. It was done to several people including myself. And if LL did fix it, Kudos and I hope other things get fixed.

There was a bug about 2 years ago where people would recieve random IMs for other people and as far as I know it was fixed in the next update, I never heard of it happening again after then.

@graphic: do you know the difference between IM and local chat?

In case you don't, IM is directly between 2 users, user and group, group and user or object and user, nothing gets send to users or object that are not involved. local chat is chat on channels, here the SIM is involved and these can be intercepted if you or your object is close enough but nobody uses these for private chat simply because IM is more effective, non 0 channels are only used for controling scripts.

This brings up a few very valid questions.

*What are you going to do about the "adult" profiles some residents have on Second Life (Nudity, adult language & situations, advertising for adult business, etc.) Are you planning on safeguarding them from reading adult profiles? Are you going to censor & force residents to change their profiles? (Which is a bad move for those who own adult businesses or work in the adult industry  & use their profiles to pass on information, etc.)
