Just talked to a kid, a friend, inworld. I know her as the most friendly welcome face at one of my favorite regions. I will not see her there. She gets banned at several M rated sims since yesterday. Of cause A rated too. The world IS getting smaller 😕

...oh, and i don't think LL is trying to get away from adult content, it is a core business that gets a lot of real money in. And LL is a business not a pony ranch. I guess LL just likes to keep that business running in a legal way. And pedophilic disorder is a serious issue.

Do you know how less attractive land on Zindra is? The non-PG bed, the picture at the wall and the youp*rn stream at the neighbors TV drives private land owners and management towards adult estates. There is no "closed door"

The result after that result were thousands adult estates. This is how "strict rules" always fail.

we are looking on this from an European or American point of view. In Asia, i.e. Japan youth got a very different aspect. Think about Mangas, Hikikomori, Kawaii... This is quite common. Not less Japanese people will not grown up, like to stay as a child. This got not automatically an sexual aspect. A lot of Asian regions may also ran into issues.

well - a lot, maybe most estate sims are adult. (the most I know) A lot of harmless topical beaches. In fact families got their beloved private homes there. Those sims are not adult because of dungeons, hardcore and violence. Those are labeled A to avoid problems with privacy. ...some child avatars may never find home again.

This is about child avatars - not RL kids. If a kid likes to sneak into a sexual orientated adult region? That kid surly will act as an adult character with a fake adult profile. Who will approve this? It is the internet. This TOS change does not address kids. This address adult RP.

Lol! "The Undie Patrol Group" First of all, It's Linden's game, so Linden's law - If the owners decide any avatar must be a blue cubic - it may be so. Deal with it. In my opinion (...anything that follows is just my OPINION!) : I am sure, this is not to save children from nudity, pornography or abuse. Nudity in SL is quite common. If any avatar joins into any mesh body crowded area, anybody is naked until all the high detailed stuff is rezzed - after minutes. This is not limited to adult regions. So if you like a clean, shiny, non nudity Second Life, then blame mesh for all that frequent nudity. Currently there is no technical way to cover any thrilling peace of the human body - in world-wide manner. In my opinion it is a bit naive to think this new policy will make any world a better world. But it is a statement. Anyway, i am also worried this may lead into complications even for all the peeps, who were not sexual orientated to kids. On the other hand, people who are sexual orientated to kids pretty well know on what side they are on. They mostly ignore any policies already. I do not remember a thread rising up this fast since the first threads as G/M/A differentiation and Zindra appears.
