  1. Hello! First off, i'm quite sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, I wasn't exactly sure! Within the hour, I uploaded a bit of mesh. I renamed it, and switched back to my normal viewer. Upon entering this viewer and searching for the name (and the original name) of the upload I just had, nothing is there! Has anyone had this issue? Should I just send in a support ticket? Kind of annoying when you lose money for creating something you know. >_< Any information would be greatly appreciated. :]
  2. Haha. I have lotsa people who've taught me to script and build. But animations are something I was never able to get a grip on, or take the time for. Plus there aren't as many animators as there are builders or scripters, i'd say atleast. But thank you for that helpful tip, headed that way now. :]
  3. I have indeed been looking inworld, and your right about needing to see them first. Thank you for those stores though, i'll check them out, maybe i'll find what I need. :] Chances are unlikely, but always possible! Thanks again for all the help! Any other suggestions?

  5. Hey Emmett! Thanks for taking your time to post. I've already checked out the marketplace though. The HUD I cannot use as I don't have permissions to copy and transfer. The Air Guitar isn't too bad, but it's 500L for the full perms one, and the legs don't even move. Haha. I already have a freebie one that's similar, but i've seen much higher quality in several places... If only they had the perms! Thanks anyways though! If anyone would be willing to make said animation, i'd love to hear from you too.. I'm really asking for a relatively short loop animation. Nothing too big and crazy, that's for sure. I'm no animation builder, but i'd assume it could only take two hours at the very most. And you could still resell the animation itself, for yourself. Win win?
  6. Mesh would reduce the prims involved, but it'd be more costly. And it wouldn't necessarily reduce the prims, it's just most likely. You could get a near perfect example though. Although it's not something people are supposed to upload, so you may have trouble finding a mesh builder to build this for you. I could estimate about 400 prims though, for quality.
  7. Hey guys, So i've been building a few guitars. I do happen to have two animations, but neither of them are very good. They were freebies so I cannot complain, but does anyone know of an inworld store or a product on the marketplace that happens to be an excellent and preferabbly universal guitar animation? A set of 3 would be even better, but i'm really only looking for one. I've been looking for about a week now but I haven't come up with anything. I'd like to pay around 100L, but I suppose I could put out up to 500L if it's an excellent animation. It'd be even more amazing if it came in a menu pack or something, haha. Maybe with effects, sounds, and animations. But I highly doubt I will find this in particular, anywhere. Oh, i'm also looking for copy and transfer perms. Let me know what you have found, please! :]
  8. That's a highly good point, perhaps with my curiousity i'll make the next revolutional script... Haha. Just give me a year or so. I spent several hours on the wiki today though, I have a much better understand of how to write my own script. Shortly i'll put it into works and hopefully get my HUD up and running. Thank you for your help though, it's always much appreciated. :]
  9. Hey Darkie! That was very useful, thank you, I believe i'm going with step 3 and going from there. I believe it will solve any troubles I may have. Rolig, i've been playing on the wiki on occasion, but from what i've heard from several scripters it's more like the basic manual, and that you can learn quicker and faster from guides around the web. It really all depends really. The wiki is slightly harder to understand than the average scripting guide though. But i'm slowly and steadily learning from both. :]
  10. Actually now that i'm reading through the wiki and such, and fully following your instructions, I believe I still need some minor form of instruction on how to construct a hud. I understand the building part, it's just a prim with more prims on it that you attach to a HUD spot instead, but how do I relay a button I pressed on said HUD, to activate a script or animation on an object? Or my guitar in this example.
  11. Thank you for your post Darkie, I do want to take it everywhere, so the HUD would be better for me. Thank you for your help, i'll follow your directions and see how it turns out. :] It's actually a guitar by the way, not furniture or anything. Haha. Trying to change things around so it can play more than one animation and sound, and adding in effects would be nice. Thanks again though! Trying things now.
  12. Hey guys! So i've been playing SL for nearly two years now, but only recently did I get into building. Now, i'm no scripting genius so please bare with me. What i'd like to do, i'd like to create a menu (or maybe it's a HUD?) that will allow me to switch between animations, perhaps two or three. I'd also like, though this part isn't quite mandatory, to be able to activate and turn off different particle effects, such as fire or sparks, etc. Finally, and the only other mandatory part besides animations, are sounds. I'd like to switch between a few sounds, and they also need to loop. I could be wrong but the loop part would just be another script for sound looping? I'm not extremely familiar with scripting, I'd definitely consider myself a novice. Though i've played with basic scripts, though never made my own. I'd love it if you guys explained in depth or left me a link, that would show me how to do what i'm looking to do. Any help at all is appreciated. Thank you very much, Weihoppa. :]
