  1. Hi guys judge for yourselves myself and Cully arent pulling any fast ones or trying to cheat anyone as implied by a certain other post carolinas great as anyone who uses the slurl to visit can see...and do what I did compare... we're not crafty land dealers....

The land is formed into an island and is mainly surrounded by linden water however if you want to change the place feel free once you buy it its yours to do what you want with. Unfortunately I think my advertising methods must have touched a few sore points in the land dealing business maybe ...but never mind ... and as I say even if youre not buying the antics of the bunnies are far funny than some contributors to the forum :D

  2. I've been scouting round and comparing prices I reckon Im selling a bargain piece of land...it's an Island - and a big one -situated in the mainland region of  Carolina..

Pricey maybe but judging by some of the other pieces of land (even those with protected water like this island) I'm underselling by at least 50%..... Our bunnies will be sad to be leaving their home as we will but our loss is someone elses gain...

My only hope is that the person who buys wants all Carolina and isnt going to cut it up to make a bigger profit although Im sure if some one did they'd be bound to make more cash than us.....

Come along and if you dont want to buy at least watch the bunnies having fun  bouncing on their trampoline :D

    Here's a slurl  -- enjoy

  3. The land in Hagen is excellent...especially good now tiers have been reduced. Next to a linden road bidge and adjacent to access protected water - myself and cully are also selling the land somewhat cheaper per sq m that some of the surrounding pieces ;)  Got to be good :D

  4. Lindens instead of listening to this motley crew lets have universal accounts for all at a lower rate for all...then maybe we can get a reduction on tiers... simple. Maybe at the same time we'll lose a few of those griefers who either wont want the risk of loosing their account or wont find making a nuisance of themselves worth paying for... then leave the way for those of us who want to build and create and pay a fair price for doing it. Thats all I want despite the slurs some of these hopeless forum malingerers are slinging. Thanks.

Sweety, I pay a monthly Premium and have for a few years now. I've also seen you voice this same, misguided drivel before and was one of the ones to confront you over it in the last iteration of these forums.

You showed your colors then too.

Keep on screaming into that void while reality leaves you behind.

If youre paying a premium what are you arguing about you dodo oh yes I showed my colours by responding to your attack rather than by caving into your drivel.... 'sweetie' and dont think Im going to change an opinion just because you think you rule the roost here lol

You've been down this road many times before and had the faults in your "logic" pointed out to you many times before.

It has been nearly twelve years since Linden Lab made the (wise) choice to allow basic accounts in for no extra charge. In that time some of us eventually sought a Premium account for our own varied reasons.

The time for Linden Lab to have enacted restrictions to basic accounts or to go back to a one time fee is long past at this point - either downsize to what you can afford or leave but stop pretending that those who pay for a Premium account are in any way, shape or form any better than those who do not. Stop pretending that the money a basic account pays into purchasing virtual goods, land (rent) and other such things simply goes nowhere at all.

Scroungers and freeloaders ... What an ever loving crock ....

We get it, you're bitter and have an inflated sense of importance. Enjoy screaming into the void.

Bitter ? Youre another moron who doesnt like a different opinion to your own.... and this is actually the first time Ive posted on the forum in ages so youre wrong there too seems to be par for the course with you being wrong....Lindens wouldn't last  without its highly underappreciated premium account holders but youre clearly so blind and love free loading so much ....Sooner or later they'll adopt a system where everyone pays....and then we'll see whos bitter lol :D

I wander SL all day long. The last time i actually saw any griefing was well over 5 years ago.

And yet, you spouted off on how much you want to restrict Non-premium accounts. Such as in your OP....

You really need to stop saying "free accounts" as many pay more than Premium ones do.

I have read every single word in this thread. You are stuck on your hatred for non-premium accounts for whatever reason. I'm not sure what your son has to do with what i posted... Perhaps you should actually read what I wrote.. I never mentioned any relatives of yours..

I dont hate non premium payers I just dont like contributing to keep sl going through a hefty tier for a bunch of scroungers and freeloaders who then claim that paying for a few items here and there mean they contribute more...........

@Tex Monday I think his point is that stories about non-premium users spending lots of money are invalid because he, a premuim user, spends plenty of money. I think he mistakenly imagines that the stories are that non-premiums spend a lot more money that premiums.

I'm sure your overriding hobby of naturism adds a phenomenal amount to the coffers of Linden labs......

  9. Its about time long term account holders were given decent rewards and not baubles...reduced tiers or increased land allowances either with do...either will act as a nice incentive to new long term account being established something which shows an attitude of customers being appreciated rather than an attitude which says...we're linden labs youre lucky to be in second life....

Non-premium residents outnumber premium residents by...quite a lot. If one were only to look at numbers, and nothing else, it would stand to reason that non-premium members spend more, as a whole, than premium members do.

You don't have to be premium to buy lindens-ie, spend money.  Countless non-premium members are creators too, they not only spend money, but they also create content. Without that content, a lot of sl would be pretty damn empty(ok, for the pessimists, I don't mean just parcels being used, I mean, content-wise).

Make 'em all pay if they want to support sl properly they'll get an account buy land and settle in...and if Lindens respond as they should reduced tiers all round...I have an account and I spend a lot of lindens so stories about non account holders spending lindens hold little weight.. I also believe a lot of the griefing that goes on is down to non account holders too....

  11. Ive always felt the problem is that Linden staff feel we should be grateful for the right to be in sl rather than the other way round and that the denizens of sl are in fact paying their salaries....Customer care has always seemed very low on Linden priorities and their idea of 'rewards' for customer loyalty are a joke.....

If you use llTargetOmega in a script that's in the root prim, the entire linkset will revolve.  If you put it in a child prim, only that prim will revolve. In this particular case, if you want the item to revolve around whatever its local rotation axis it now, don't apply llRot2Up.  That ought to work.

Now, for propellers ... in the old days we used to make propellers by taking a flattened cube prim and applying some twist.  They were pretty crummy looking propellers, though, even if you added a texture to round off the funky sharp corners.  I wouldn't do it that way today.  Just make a simple mesh propeller.  It will have lower L.I. and look loads better.

If you put the script into the root prim the build will revolve around the root prims axes as long as they are parallel with the regions/worlds axis - move the build so theyre not parallel  and the rotation goes totally askew....How do I not apply rot2 up ? Im not a scripter and the minute I tried to remove that from the script good old syntax errors.... Thanks for you help.

  13. Hello Im trying to find a way of rotating a component in my build once it's no longer 'parallel' with the three axes - I'm no scripter - not learned yet - and so Im wading through the terminology to try and make things work. Currently using all the rotation scripts I have if I duplicate the part and move it so its no long parallel the rotation immediately goes wild.

I found a script which would work apart from the fact it only seems to work with two prims....those prims with no script in them dont revolve.. the script claims its good for propellors ...Im wondering how (unless one of the compents is a sculptie) you make a propellor from two prims....can anyone please tell me how I appy this to a build with several prims... Thanks

//Rotates very slowly around a cylinder's local or global Z axis
// .... Good for making a propeller that rotates regardless of initial orientation.
