Thank you, Sir.  Since coming to SL 4 years ago I've been an avid hunter of Elegant Gothic Victorian attire, and I must say it was near impossible to find then, and even now, while offerings have improved, I find myself still craving for more.

    Cheers!

You can find the Quote ability once you are in the Post Message area.  The button is on the top right.  Next to Spell Check.

Did you by any chance get that outfit from RFyre?  Raven Pennyfeather has some nice gothic, victorian, steampunk designs.

To me, Suspiria is just another person who posts comments and if she is someone special who I am supposed to "know" about, sadly I don't! ..... All I can say is that others were similarly unmentioned and they, too, were not the victim of some conspiracy. And the comment that "...the two insults that he referenced from the forum were not just coincedentally insults that were hurled at Suspiria" is also wrong - it was, indeed, coincidence! I actually picked those because they seemed to be hyperbolic enough to represent a verbal extreme. NOT because they were aimed at someone in particular.

<snips>....there has been a lot of reading-between-the-lines of my article that has resulted in some speculative suppositions about my intentions. And assuming that I am in some way attacking Suspiria because I didn't mention here is bordering on paranoia. I didn't mention Prok but somehow she also appeared to "know" what I was thinking!

<snips>  However, all I do ask is that you at least consider that I might be telling the truth and that I have nothing against anyone who was not mentioned in my article, and that the purpose of the piece was to show how it IS possible for people to actually care about their fellow humans and engage in a community activity, regardless of all the other times when they have been less than charitable. Like many of us, I am tragically cynical and given to thinking the worst of people. But Hippiestock was a brief flicker of happiness in a jaded world

Well, they try to mute critical voices, another attempt of LL to ignore thier customers, cos we cant voice our concerns to the public now...

    Youre sooo great LL!^^

I disagree. This is an example where LL listened to their customers (us) when so many of us asked for a GD-like place.  If one must log in to read the content, so be it!  I think it is a great compromise.  We get what we asked for and LL can show a 'preferred face' to the outside public.  We still have the Feedback forums to speak 'directly' to LL who, right now, are listening and listening hard.

Also, I would suggest that if you have any concerns, you try to attend one of their Community Tools User Group feedback sessions held on a regular basis.  There was one yesterday.  Unedited local text of the session is always available soon afterwards.

I was just able to vote on this JIRA. Voting doesn't stop until March 8th on JIRA's. And there is a petition in the works to have LL reconsider taking JIRA voting away. Which most of already know that JIRA was one of the key factors in making the Lindens aware of this problem with Redzone. It's one of the few ways to directly contact them about any problems when they arise in Second Life. Watching is not the same thing as voting and does nothing more than to tick residents off by spamming their email inboxes.

Don't you think that the multitude of RZ-related threads in the old GD had something to do with LL noticing an 'issue'?  Sheesh, one could not miss all of those threads.  Like spam, they were.

  5. I have been to a couple of areas that were probably adult sims but it was back in Fall 2007 and I was not checking sim ratings at that time.  It was during a riotous field trip that my club manager and three others of us took so he could practice machinima.  Saw some interesting equipment and other wierd stuff but it was just for s**ts and giggles.

  6. You can check out this page that has the text log of the Community Techincal User group meeting that occurred yesterday.  Chrome came up and I believe they are aware of the issue.

Also, you can go to their Community Feedback forum (at the bottom of the list of forums) and read the posts/post your comments related to any issues (good or bad) you are having with the new environment.

I would like an Adult-Only subforum where adult topics can be discussed.  I thought it was patently ridiculous yesteday when a word that is commonly used in a student biology textbook was considered a violation of the guidelines.  There are creators of adult content in SL, landowners and renters on adult sims and Zindra, and other adult establishments.  If we cannot use the Entertainment subforum to post things adult in nature, where then?

If people want to advertise their smut or talk about 'parts', they can use another SL forum like SLUniverse.  It's pretty obvious LL doesn't care about the adult part of SL, and I'm glad they're keeping this forum based around PG rating.

You are making assumptions.  Plus, if you do not wish to look in that area, no one would force you to do so.
