i also had this problem! i asked in BEAR about it for over 40 minuutes, no one seemed to understand the problem, as if search was a given! i almost left SL, ans was about to quit it forever if it wasnt for a kind person there who walked me thru 5 relogs, before i finally loaded viewer 1.23. LINDENS! you HAVE to get some one off the street, a compleate newbee, and just watch them struggle with your game in a room without any coaching to actually SEE where your game problems begin!
